The Pre-Tint and Aftercare Ritual, In Order

Great hybrid colour is decided before the tint touches the brow. The single biggest reason a stain underperforms is skin prep, and the single biggest reason it fades early is aftercare. Here is the ritual, in order, with the why behind every step.

Before: strip the oil

1. Oil-Free Cleanser. Sebum and skincare residue are a barrier between pigment and skin. Cleanse the brow area properly; oil-free matters because a standard cleanser can leave exactly the film you're trying to remove.
2. Brow Saline. The pre-tint skin prep that lifts what the cleanser left behind and brings the skin to a clean, even canvas. This step is the difference between 4 days of stain and 10.
3. Dry completely. Water dilutes stain. Bone dry, then tint.

During: correct as you go
